We specify Roman shades where the window is asking for a tailored, inside-mounted treatment — kitchens, breakfast rooms, baths, powder rooms, dressing rooms, and any room where full-length drapery would overpower the architecture.
Our Roman shades are built as flat, relaxed, or hobbled folds depending on the fabric and the room. Every shade is interlined for fold integrity, lined for light and privacy control, and weighted at the hem to fall straight every time it is lowered.
Hardware is concealed: clutch-lift or motorized lift systems, never exposed cords. We specify cordless and motorized lift as the default in any home with children or pets.

- Can Roman shades be blackout?
- Yes. We line Roman shades with three-pass blackout where required — most often for primary baths, dressing rooms, and bedrooms where full-length drapery is not desired.
- Are your Roman shades cordless?
- By default. We specify cordless clutch-lift or hardwired motorized lift on every Roman shade. Exposed cord systems are no longer compliant with current child-safety standards and we do not build them.
