Quietly held. Carefully kept.
The studio's work is private by default. Below are verified testimonials from homeowners and trade partners who have worked with House of Drapery across Los Angeles and beyond.
How We Work
Our clients are private. Names, addresses, and identifying details of completed residences are never published without written consent. References are offered to qualified prospective clients on request and reviewed individually.
Every engagement begins with a private consultation, proceeds through measured specification, and concludes with installation by the studio's own team. No project is rushed; no project is delegated to a sub-contractor outside the studio.
Olga Rechdouni, ASID, is the principal on every project. Clients work directly with the designer who specified their drapery — from first measurement through final dressing of the folds.
A meaningful share of the studio's work is trade — specified alongside an interior designer or architect of record. Shop drawings, fabric specifications, and installation coordination are documented on every project.

“Professional, creative, and responsive from concept through installation. The finished drapes exceeded our expectations.”
“Our Beverly Hills estate had a serious echo and noise issue due to high ceilings and large glass walls. We interviewed several designers before choosing House of Drapery. Olga proposed an acoustic drapery solution that not only improved sound quality throughout the home but also elevated the entire aesthetic. Her knowledge of fabrics and performance solutions was impressive.”
“We wanted our outdoor living space in Thousand Oaks to feel like a luxury resort. House of Drapery designed weather-resistant outdoor drapery that created privacy, shade, and a beautiful architectural element around our patio. The transformation was dramatic, and our guests constantly ask who designed it.”
“Our Sherman Oaks family home faces neighboring properties, and privacy was becoming a concern. Olga listened carefully and created custom window treatments that solved the problem without blocking natural light. The rooms now feel warm, inviting, and private.”
“The floor-to-ceiling windows in our Glendale penthouse were beautiful but difficult to dress. House of Drapery helped us select fabrics and hardware that complemented the modern architecture while softening the space. The result feels sophisticated, elegant, and custom-tailored.”
“Sleep was a challenge because of streetlights and early morning sunlight. Olga designed a blackout drapery system for our West Hollywood residence that completely changed our quality of life. The rooms are darker, quieter, and far more comfortable. We wish we had done it years ago.”
“We didn't want to lose our ocean view in Malibu, but we needed privacy during the day. Olga recommended sheer curtains that filter light beautifully while preserving the openness of the space. The rooms now feel airy, elegant, and perfectly finished.”
