Los Angeles Executive Office & Boardroom
Signature Design Concept — an editorial concept study created by the studio to demonstrate House of Drapery's specification practice in cloth, heading, hardware, motorization, and architectural integration. All imagery is illustrative rendering, not a photograph of a completed installation. No construction or installation has occurred at any specific address; this is a portfolio and editorial design study.

Signature Design Concept — Executive Commercial Drapery Program — a portfolio project documenting a window treatment approach in Los Angeles, CA. A studio reference in design intent, material specification, and architectural reasoning.
An editorial design study for a Los Angeles executive program in a Century City high-rise — a boardroom with wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling glass and a city skyline view that has to read as confidential during sensitive meetings, and an adjoining private office that has to read as warm, sophisticated, and unmistakably principal.
Boardroom: ceiling-mounted ripple fold drapery in an acoustic-rated warm charcoal wool with concealed motorized Lutron track, paired with a daytime solar sheer in champagne on a parallel concealed track. Private office: ceiling-mounted inverted pleat drapery in warm taupe wool flannel on a hand-forged antique brass rod, framing the wall of glass and grounding the room in the House of Drapery palette.
Acoustic-rated warm charcoal wool with three-pass blackout lining (boardroom inboard, NRC 0.35 at the cloth); solar sheer in champagne (boardroom outboard); warm taupe wool flannel with interlining (private office); cotton sateen lining throughout.
Recessed motorized Lutron track for both boardroom layers; hand-forged antique brass rod with hammered finials for the private office; concealed traverse mechanism behind the rings.
Boardroom pocket coordinated with the building's tenant-improvement team at rough-in; private-office hardware installed into existing structure with through-bolted ceiling brackets to maximize stack height.
Lutron Athena hardwired motors in the boardroom, tied to the AV system's 'Confidential Meeting' scene that closes the inboard wool layer at the touch of a button. The private office is hand-drawn from a leading-edge return.
An editorial design study showing how the studio's residential discipline scales into a Los Angeles executive program — acoustic cloth, motorized confidentiality, hand-forged brass, and a corporate palette that reads as sophisticated rather than cold.
