Fabric Selection
Fabric is the last decision the studio makes in a drapery program, not the first. By the time we present cloth we already know the pleat, the fullness, the lining, the mount, the orientation, the use, and the architecture — and we present three to five options that resolve all of them.

Why Choose This Style
We work with Holland & Sherry, Dedar, Zimmer + Rohde, Rubelli, Schumacher, Lee Jofa, GP & J Baker, and the studio's coastal performance mills.
Hand, weight, weave, and aging behavior all matter more than pattern or color in luxury custom drapery.
Every fabric we present comes with a written rationale: why this cloth for this room, and what it will look like after five years of use.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I supply my own fabric?
- Yes — we routinely fabricate from designer-specified or homeowner-procured fabric, provided it meets our quality threshold for hand, weight, and finishing.
- How long does fabric procurement take?
- Two to six weeks for stocked European mills, four to twelve for special orders, longer for cut-to-order and bespoke weaves.
- Will I see fabric in the actual room?
- Yes — we present large samples in the room, in the light, before any cloth is ordered.
