Custom Measurements
Every project the studio fabricates begins with on-site measurements taken by an installer, not pulled from drawings. Architecture drifts; window openings move during construction; a drapery program built on plan-set dimensions will read as off when it hangs.

Why Choose This Style
We measure each opening to the sixteenth of an inch, document the architecture around it, and record the surrounding finish floor, ceiling plane, and adjacent millwork.
Measurements are taken twice — once during the consultation, once after the fabrication site is prepared — and reconciled before any cloth is cut.
On new construction, we coordinate the measurement window with drywall, paint, and finish-floor completion so the drapery is right the first time.
Where Measurements Drapery Belongs
- Every residential and commercial project the studio accepts
- All ceiling heights
- Every architectural style — the discipline is universal
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I take my own measurements?
- We do not fabricate from client-supplied measurements. The risk to the project is too high; the discipline begins with our installer in the room.
- When are measurements taken on new construction?
- After drywall, paint, and finish floor are complete, before installation of cabinetry that affects mounting.
- How precise are your tolerances?
- Plus or minus 1/16 inch on width and length, plus or minus 1/8 inch on mount height across a wall. Anything looser shows in the finished panel.
