Smart Home Compatibility for Motorized Drapery
How the studio integrates motorized drapery with Lutron, Crestron, Savant, and Control4 — and why the integrator matters as much as the motor.
A motorized drapery program lives or dies by its integration. The motor is the easy part; the keypad, scenes, and commissioning are the work.
Lutron
The studio's default in projects where lighting is already on Lutron. Sivoia drapery and shade motors integrate natively with HomeWorks and RA2 keypads.
Crestron and Savant
Specified in larger estates and properties already running Crestron or Savant. The integration is straightforward; the keypad design is the work.
Control4
Common in newer luxury new-builds. Supports drapery and shade integration alongside lighting, audio, and HVAC.
