A luxury residence is a coordinated system of architecture, lighting, climate, and control. Motorized window treatments are the soft-architecture layer of that system, and a serious home is no longer specified without them.
Motorization as part of the home's control ecosystem
We coordinate every motorized window treatment with the home's existing Lutron, Crestron, Savant, or Control4 ecosystem. Morning, afternoon, evening, and away scenes raise and lower the entire shading program from a single keypad. The window treatment becomes part of the home, not an accessory to it.
Layered shading as the residential standard
Primary suites, great rooms, and dining rooms in the studio's luxury projects ship with a layered specification: a daytime sheer or solar roller shade, an evening privacy layer, and a true blackout assembly — all motorized, all independent, all integrated. This is the standard the best hotels in the world specify to, and it is the standard residential luxury has moved to.

Concealment, silence, and discipline
Hardwired DC motors at 32–38 dB. Recessed ceiling pockets. No visible hardware. No remotes lying on a console. The discipline of a luxury motorization program is in what the homeowner does not see and does not hear.

- As a coordinated system, not per window. We quote drapery, shade, integration, and installation as one program and stand behind the result as one program.
- Which control ecosystems does the studio specify into?
- Lutron, Crestron, Savant, Control4, and direct Somfy where the home does not yet have a primary ecosystem. We do not specify into ecosystems we have not commissioned before.
- Can luxury motorization be specified for a remodel?
- Yes — and we are increasingly retained at the design-development stage of remodels specifically to coordinate motorization rough-in with the electrician and the lighting designer before drywall closes.
