Ten feet, fourteen feet, twenty feet — each ceiling height is its own specification.
Ceiling height changes the cloth, the heading, the hardware, the motorization, and the install sequence. The studio approaches each height band as a separate specification.
Ten to twelve feet
Ceiling-mounted track, interlined linen or velvet, ripple fold or French pleat. Motorization recommended above 10 ft.
Twelve to sixteen feet
Recessed ceiling pocket, heavyweight interlined cloth, ripple fold or wave fold. Hardwired motorization required.
Sixteen feet and above
Engineered specification — cloth weight, heading construction, motor torque, install access all planned before framing closes. Heavyweight European track. Service access designed at framing.
